Installation & Soldering Guide:
Difficulty: Novice

To install:

  • Power off your console and remove all batteries

  • Desolder each wire from your original damaged board one at a time.

  • Resolder each wire directly onto the new board, in the same exact order and position.

    • Example: Remove the white (WHT) wire from your original board and immediately solder it to the matching spot on the new board. Continue to the next wire sequentially until all connections have been transferred.

  • **IMPORTANT**: Ensure that no wires are touching or shorting each other out. Incorrect soldering can cause permanent damage to your Game Boy and this replacement board. This is a beginner level mod, but not adhering to this guide can cause permanant damage. We are not liable for these damages.

  • If the existing wires from your console are damaged or damaged during the soldering process, please use new wire to ensure that your device has the appropiate connections.

  • Wire/Game Boy/additional parts are NOT included. Packaging only includes the circuit board
